Our Story

At Milo’s Kitty Parlor, everything started with one very energetic cat named Milo.

Like many cat parents, we found ourselves constantly searching for products that were actually useful, comfortable, and worth bringing into our home. Too many pet products felt cheaply made, impractical, or designed by people who didn’t really understand cats. We wanted better for Milo, and we knew other cat lovers probably felt the same way.

So we created a place built by cat people, for cat people.

Milo has always had a huge personality. He’s playful, curious, endlessly active, and completely fearless when the zoomies kick in. One minute he’s sprinting through the house at full speed chasing invisible enemies, and the next he’s passed out sleeping like a rock in the softest spot he can find. Watching him taught us that kitties don’t just need any beds, or fountains, or toys, they need those items to fit the way they actually live. Seeing Milo pick and choose what he's playing with today and seeing him switch toys or beds, formed the idea that became the heart of Milo’s Kitty Parlor.

Every product we add to our store is chosen with real cats and real cat parents in mind. We look for items that solve everyday problems, make life easier, create comfort, or simply make cats happier. Whether it’s cozy beds for deep naps, water fountains that encourage hydration, toys that keep indoor cats stimulated, or practical accessories that help keep homes cleaner, we believe cat products should serve a purpose while still feeling fun and thoughtful.

And of course, Milo absolutely “approves” the products himself.

If a bed isn’t cozy enough for his afternoon crash sessions, it doesn’t make the cut. If a toy can’t survive his late night energy bursts, we move on. If something makes life easier for both cats and their humans, that’s when we know we’ve found something worth sharing.

We also know being a cat parent is more than just owning a pet. Cats become part of the family. They each have their own routines, personalities, quirks, favorite sleeping spots, and dramatic little habits that somehow make us love them even more. There’s a special connection between people who truly love cats and we wanted our store to feel like it was built for that community.

That’s why we care about more than just selling products.

We want Milo’s Kitty Parlor to feel welcoming, playful, and genuinely helpful. A place where fellow cat lovers can discover things that improve everyday life with their pets while sharing the same appreciation for all the chaos, comfort, and personality cats bring into a home.

Milo continues to inspire us every day. His playful attitude, endless curiosity, and talent for turning any soft surface into a nap zone remind us why we started this journey in the first place. He represents everything we love about cats: independent but affectionate, energetic but peaceful, chaotic but comforting.

At the end of the day, this store exists because of one cat who made us want to create something better for cats everywhere.
